The rules for using Caddy.
Caddy is a grocery companion app that helps you manage shopping lists, track prices, and share grocery planning with your household. These terms govern your use of the Caddy mobile app and the caddy.ph website (together, "the Service"), operated from the Philippines.
You sign in with Google or Apple. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. One person, one account.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings in the app. Deletion removes your sign-in credentials, revokes your Google or Apple link, and anonymizes your contributions in shared spaces. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.
You own the grocery data you create: lists, item names, quantities, prices, trips, and item photos. You grant Caddy a license to store, sync, and display that data to you and, in shared spaces, to the members of those spaces. This license exists only to operate the Service. When you delete your account, this license ends for your personal data. A limited license survives for anonymized contributions in shared spaces, so other members keep their shared history without your personal information attached.
You are responsible for the content you add. Do not upload content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others.
When you create a shared space, you invite members by sharing a QR code or invite link. All members of a space can see and edit the space's lists, catalog, prices, and trips.
You agree not to:
Caddy is provided as-is. We do our best to keep the Service available and your data safe, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and we are not liable for data loss, downtime, or errors in price estimates or calculations. Price data in Caddy is based on what you and your household enter; it is not financial advice.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.
We may update these terms. When we do, we will update this page. Continued use of Caddy after a change means you accept the revised terms.
Your use of Caddy is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we collect and how we handle it.
